Red tailed Hawk Strafing
Apparently this hawk has learned from the ravens how to taunt my dog. It flew overhead, no more than thirty feet off the ground, which made focusing difficult. Then it was off to the races, as Coffee Girl chased it across the field.

I wouldn't think the hawk could consider Coffee Girl real prey, do you? Do you think it could have been a bit of a game? PS Gosh, that sky is gorgeous.
I've never seen a hawk treat my 14-15 pound poodle as prey, let alone coyote-sized Coffee Girl. It has indeed become a game, especially between the ravens and Coffee Girl. Those ravens are intelligent birds.
