Never visited the Kit Carson Home and Museum either.<br /><br />"Are you going to claim that you are so much smarter or have such superior taste to the hundred?" - Yes!<br /><br />I do like Taos but have no desire to see what the Chamber of Commerce touts as what 'must be seen'. I even avoid the highly recommended, overpriced restaurants but have a difficult time finding those that open early to serve the locals. Everyone is looking for that tourist dollar! <br /><br />"Yes the gorge cut into the lava is impressive."<br /><br />You also saw it from a vantage point other than the US64 bridge.
